Lindsey and I headed out to Long Beach to walk the dogs and came across what is left of the beaver pond. This is the beaver pond where you make the turn to head up Monashka Mt or continue on through the forest towards long beach.
It appears the pond didnt just break through the beaver dam but actually broke much further down in the soil. All of that water rushing out at once created a pretty huge path of destruction.
Here you can see the beaver dam on top of the soil and how far down the soil wall gave way
This is what used to be the beaver pond and what will probably be a spectacular meadow in a year or so
