Floated the Buskin River with McCrea and Maya in 2 Watermasters and 1 Alpaca packraft. The flow was good and there were a couple fun parts. The rapids below the pumphouse hole were really the only exciting part. It was very safe to do at the higher water state.

Where do you put in? The whole antenna field section of the river is off limits, I thought. The first legal access is at the "beaver pond" at the west entrance to the Swampy Acres trails, which makes for a short trip down to Buskin Beach.

We did put in at the beaver pond. The total trip down took about a hour to a hour and a half. Perfect for an afterwork trip given set up and breakdown time.

No sweepers at all when we went through. Even the bridge below the weir had little debris.
