We hiked Burton Beach from the Space Hotel to the big rock - the winter storms have altered the beach somewhat.
We also hiked the Narrow Cape loop starting at Fossil Beach on two different days - it's a bit mushy and muddy in spots, but the lagoon below Faulty Tower is still quite frozen, although I didn't venture straight across it. We saw many grey whales between the cape and Ugak Island on Monday.
Tuesday, the whales were just offshore of Surfer Beach, rolling in the surf.
