Tech corner 2: a nerdy waxing bench

So I recently went nuts and build myself a nice waxing stand for XC skis. I made it out of scrap wood from other projects and a few odd items. It can adjust to different ski lengths because the tip and tail supports are slotted and slide in a track. It uses Yakima rack wing nuts to hold the tip and tail supports in place once adjusted. The binding is held to the center block by passing a vey thin screw driver through the toe bar receiver, and the ski is held by the friction of the rubber fire hose upholstery. If anyone wants 'plans' for how to build one of these, they are welcome to stop by and see it and copy the design.

I like the Xtra tuff beer cooler - now where did you get that?

I don't recall where it came from, but I bet Mack's or Kodiak Marine would have them. They are made just like Xtratufs, with tread on the bottom and everything.
