Saturday at Pasagshak was wet snow and rain and 35 degrees. Saturday night the temp dropped to 20. The road was a thick sheet of ice; nevertheless, we drove up the switchbacks and hiked the road to Pasagshak Point and back. It was solid ice, but our Kahtoola ice grippers handled it with ease (they better, for $60!). The two small lakes were smooth and ideal for ice skating, although we didn't have our skates with us.
