Yeaaahhhh, that thing is washed out for a good long while now for the combustion industrial siege engine. I went running on it the day after the monster,10/10? and the road climbing up at the base of barometer had dropped into oblivion 10 feet vertical and 30-50 feet long in spots. On burma itself it looks okay in the beginning, then there is a creek that comes down between erskine and barometer that jumped straight onto the 4 wheeler/ military trail, the creek turned the trail into a boulder strewn creek rock quarry. It is impassable to atvs now for a while, fun place to run though, especially the full loop to the other end and back to start spot up and over old woman.

Man, it would be nice if it restricted the ATV use in the winter. Drives me crazy when they rut up the snow and expose rocks.

I love it when God acts to block ATVs from destroying his creation ;D

We skiied Burma Road last Sat (11/21), and unfortunately, encountered ATV's who were not deterred by the destruction. On the bright side, most of the rocks are now coated with P-Tex, so it should be safe now in low-snow conditions.

Ran to where the old bridge use to be Thursday from Anton road. Expect wet feet! Anyone know how it is past the bridge?
I heard rumor that someone is cutting a new trail for ATV's where it got washed out behind the fairgrounds. Any truth to this?
Enjoy the sunshine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hiked the road from the parking lot across from the BRI - the ATVs have managed to skirt washed out and flooded areas, unfortunately. In one section where the creek now runs down the road, they have gone into the brush and are already creating braided, deep ruts in the marshy areas. Two ATVs came from the airport direction, headed toward the Flats and never returned, so I assume there is now some sort of trail all the way through.
