We hiked along the coast out to TP and back through the forest. Sunny, calm day 
and Stacy and Valerie hiked without rubber boots and returned with dry feet! ;D The trail is in very good shape, but there are sections in the forest with ice and snow that easily avoided. We counted over 100 tree tops that had snapped off due to heavy snow loads after the big dump; the trail was blocked in places, but it was easy to walk around.
Someone had constructed a major shelter just after the second beach, littered with the traditional beer cans (Ranier, ugh
