Anyone up on Pyramid, please keep an eye out for 3 snowboards, left behind by my daughter and 2 companions who got in over their heads, on Saturday. In a whiteout, they headed down the wrong slope, ending up in the drainage that flows into Red Cloud Creek. I think they were left at about the 1000 foot level, near the bottom of a cliff. I can't get up their till Thursday to look. thanks

I wanted to let everybody know the boards are retrieved you don't need to be watching for them anymore. Thursday, 2/12 the skiing was fantastic. Great powder runs down the main ridge. A lot of deep snow beyond the North Bowl - heck of a time getting the boards out.

Thanks to Ron (& friend) for carrying out the three snowboards. I actually headed up there on Thursday with my daughter, but we got there an hour late (or depending on your point of view, right on time) to carry then out, as they beat us to the punch. So we just had a pleasant snowshoe on an awesome day.
Thanks again, Ron, we owe you!
