Saturday July 27. The trail up the North Sister on the north side (the Virginia Creek side) is all brushed out and in super shape. I cannot figure out why everyone goes up from the Monashka Bay overlook (aka Cocaine Hill). It's steep, buggy, and horrible on that side...

Sunday July 28. The last part of the Pillar Reservoir Bench (aka 3 Sisters Bench) trail is cut as well as the crossing of the creek where the bench ends, and also the subsequent climb up to alpine into the far southeastern terminus of the Devils Prongs. That climb is the natural extension of the Pillar Reservoir Bench trail. Fun!!
