This email is to let you know that we are now collecting registrations and payment for the December 10-18 Wilderness First Responder class that will be held in Kodiak. We appear to have reached critical mass in interest (we'll need a minimum of 12 people to run the class), and nearly all the logistics have been addressed. We are still working to confirm a classroom space, but I am confident that we can come up with one in the near future.
If you would like to secure a seat in this class, please contact me for a registration form; registration will require a 50% deposit or payment in full. Contact me for a generic syllabus for you to review. Please note: the Kodiak class schedule will differ slightly from the sample syllabus. Our class schedule will run as follows:
Dec 10-12; 8 a.m. to around 7 p.m.
Dec 13-15; 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Dec 16-18; 8 a.m. to around 7 p.m. (We will end around 5 p.m. on the 18th.)
The cost of the course is $625 pp. This fee includes all books and lab materials, CPR and WFR certificates, and instruction. It does not cover food or lodging/accommodations.
People are welcome to pay via check or credit card. If you would like to pay with a credit card, you can write the information on the registration form or I can take the information over the phone.
Please email registration forms to debajango@att.net, fax them to 696-3490 (press send when the machine comes on), or mail them to the address below.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions at all. If you are not interested in taking this class but you know of someone who might be interested, I'd really appreciate it if you could help spread the word. I've received a verbal committment from 12 participants, but I have not yet begun taking registrations (until now), so I'm not sure how many of you will actually be able to commit. The course capacity/max is 18.
Thank you for all your help and patience. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
