Many of you probably know about the excellent weathercams the FAA maintains around the state, but for those that don't, here is the website: The site runs on .php so I can't link directly to the Kodiak airport page. Just scroll down the list of sites (they are alphabetical) and click on the Kodiak link half way down the page. You will have a choice of looking in four different directions from the air traffic control tower at the airport. Click on any of the four small images to see the views in the larger window above, and click on the larger view to open a new window with an even bigger picture of the weathercam. It is a nice resource for getting an idea if the top of Pyramid is in the clouds, and what the snow cover in the Buskin Valley might be like. Below the smaller images is a button called Loop, and that opens a new window allowing you to see a sequence of images taken at 10-minute intervals so you can see how the weather has been changing over the past few hours.
