12/26 I noticed that people were surfing at MillBay around noon and that the waves looked pretty good. But a couple of hours later the waves did not look good. Are the best waves at Mill Bay tide dependant? Patrick

The waves at mill bay are greatly affected by the tide. Low tide is the best time to check out mill bay.

The surf was off the hook this week in Kodiak. 15' faces on some friday, saturday was a bit windy but we scored 6-10 foot sets on a nice glassy right hander. Looks like it might hold easterly for a few more days, sorry skiers...
