Just got back from downhill skiing on Pyramid. We got a lot of new snow. About a foot of slush at the parking lot, 2 feet of wet stuff at 1000' and 2 to 3 feet of powder above that. As of 2 PM it was lightly raining at the parking lot, but all snow above 1000 feet. I only skinned up to 1600 feet - it was a white out above that - and then I skiied the waterfall run. You only sink about 6 inches into the snow, but if you bounce you go really deep. The waterfall run is steep too! So steep and deep.
Road is good, but flooded in places. On my way in I noted that the Buskin river is not flooding which means we really are not losing very much snow yet.
Finally, when I left it looked like it was trying to clear up. A stiff breeze out of the west and no rain. The fog was moving up the mountain. 2 planes even flew thru the pass. Patrick

Also, I did post a video of Gregg, Lisa and I's Easter Sunday ski above the golf course onto youtube. But I gather it violated some sort of copywrite laws, and YouTube disabled the audio. So no audio for the video. As you listen to it - just imagine Paul Simon singing 'You can call me Al'. Patrick

We are heading to Pyramid now--6:00 p.m.--to verify the ski report for ourselves.
Great video (definitely better w/ the music!)--Thanks, Patrick!

It looks like the lawyers got involved with your sound track there, Patrick. Nice video though.
