Pyramid is pretty good right now. You have to hike to the Spruce Knob, but you can start skinning at the bottom of the Jibber Bowl and the rest of the way up the snow is actually decent. The North Bowl is full of snow and you can descend down to the start of the lower runs below the bottom end of the gut (stay skier's right at the end of the gut- follow the tracks). It's wind-transported but still decent snow, reasonably uniform, and overall fun conditions. With the good weather forecast for Saturday it looks like a great option. We get whacked by the next low pressure system starting on Sunday. :^(

We got about 3 feet of new heavy snow in the recent storm in the Jibber bowl and about a foot down near the parking lot. I skiied to the car quite easily. About a foot of wind pack up high but the top of the north bowl was good. Beware wind loading! The best skiing is probably in the jibber bowl. Patrick

Nice, thanks for the update. I'll be back on The Rock starting early this next week and will be curious to see what awaits me. Sounds like it's been a little warm.

Today Pyramid was truly medieval and I had to go up via Sharon's Traverse because of the wind. Sleeting at parking lot and all snow half way to the knob. And 5-6 inches of new snow in Jibber bowl - all tracks wiped clean. The skiing was actually quite good in the jibber, but very sticky and slushy below the knob. So let's pray it stays cool!
