Made a track through deep snow on the left (east) shoulder of the north facing aspect of Barometer. Can access the track by the last old quonset hut at the base of the climbers left shoulder. Skiing was very good and very deep pockets of powder.

I've been designated as the official Kodiak Snow Report welcoming committee - so, Welcome! We are happy to have new people posting and glad you had a good ski. We think we saw your tracks taking off on our left as we were accessing Buskin Lake to begin our cross country ski. Did you have to bush-whack through alders to get to good skiing, or was there a way to avoid them?

No bush whacking needed on the down ski. Skiable from upper ridge to the road by the old quonset huts. You may want to access the road from the lake or from road back down a little way to avoid my initial track which went through brush.
