I am relatively new to packrafting though I know a few folks here in town who have used these bathtub toys for various trips in the archipelago. I recently acquired one and am planning a trip to Shuyak with it, and to get some saltwater experience I took advantage of this past weekend's spectacular weather to do a tour of Woody and Long islands. It was sooooo pretty out there! I have sea kayaked those coastlines countless times in the past 25 years, but packrafting encourages you to go inland and across the islands more, and what a treat that can be! Here's a quick video from this weekend:

I am considering a move to Kodiak but have been so nervous that it won't be as beautiful as other parts of Alaska I have lived in, mainly Southeast. Just one video of yours and I am ready to move. Wow, absolutely breathtaking!

Paddled out to Spruce Island with my pack raft Saturday for some great hiking, in great conditions. Will add photo if I can figure it out.
