Today I paddled around Near Island. I'm testing out all the gear and working up towards Long Island, Spruce Island, etc. I put in at the public boat ramp, and I went counter clockwise; I had some minor headwinds going by Trident Basin, and some following swell as I cruised by the Old Powerhouse. All the sushi-eaters jealously looked on as I paddled by. It was beautiful out, so glad I went.
