Kind of a delayed post. A few weeks back I hiked from Pyramid to the North Sister. I hiked from bowl to bowl until I made it to 2405. From 2405 I walked the ridge line to the North Sister, and came down the trail to the view point at the turn in the road. I used a climbing axe to help on the steep ascents and descents, it would have been much more sketchy without an axe. The the ridges of both the South and Middle Sisters are steep but manageable. It was 8 miles from start to finish and took around 8 hours to complete. I didn't see any goats, which is unusual.

I found a lot of these turds that contain pieces of plastic. When I started to look around I was finding small plastic bits and pieces on all of the ridges. People are gross, not only are we filling up the oceans with plastic, but mountain tops have it too.
Plastic bits aside the hike was nice, looking South from 2405

Looking back to 2405 on the ridge to the South Sister
It is hard to capture in a photo, but the climbs up the Southern ridges of both the South and Middle Sisters are sketchy.
Looking towards the Middle Sister
I found a climbing anchor while going up the south ridge of the Middle Sister

At this point I was sun burnt, thirsty, and ready to be done. I was collecting spring water along the way but couldn't find anything on the Middle Sister or North Sister. I ended up running out of water before the final climb up the North Sister. This was the first time I have ever had a water availability issue hiking in Kodiak.

...and finally reach the end of the hike at the base of the North Sister. Kodiak's tradition of shooting up signs appears to continue.
