We have obviously had a bit of rain recently, and a lot of the creeks are quite boatable. Today we floated Sargent Creek from the first gravel road just past the Jack's Lakes turnoff down to just below the firehouse. The last bit of the river below the firehouse has a lot of trees and sweepers, but the middle section past the houses is a lot of fun. Tomorrow we might to Virginia Creek. Given some good clothing, it's a fun way to spend a few hours.

Today we boated Virginia Creek. It was excellent. The water levels were perfect with enough flow to keep your butt from scraping the rocks but not so much that the canyon and hydraulics were blown out. It is basically fool-proof creek boating. Really fun.
