The last days for full North wall runs are upon us. The small necks of snow connecting the upper wall and lower bowl are going fast.
Soon the long runs will be in the high alpine behind Bells Flats and Sargent Creek. If you venture up behind Cope Mt. to Double Surprise run, you can check out the Devastating Avalanche that ripped through the lower part of the run and made it unskiable .

6/4 Still good today. I skiied down to 1370 feet in the North bowl without crossing grass - that is almost 800 feet vertical. You got to cut hard right to catch the crossing into the lower bowl and then it gets flat as you ski towards Bear Mountain. Patrick

6/14 I went up Pyramid with skiis today not expecting to find any snow, and was surprised to find I could still link up 800 feet vertical in the North Bowl. BUT you do have to cross grass in the middle. You go about 50 meters straight right - not losing any vertical - and then hop back on the snow. No sun cups - fast and fun. So if you don't have time to climb sheratin or go behind the flats, and are happy with a small run. Then P'mid still has it! For a few more days anyway. Patrick
