Last Thursday morning I flew down to Old Harbor and then spent the next 3 days skiing back to town on my Splitboard. The weather was lovely and things went well despite the lack of snow at lower elevations and some soft conditions in the afternoons. There is a non-technical route you can follow the whole way where you can sneak over passes and avoid scary steep terrain, with the tradeoff being going through some salmonberry patches. Anyhoo, take a peek:

That looks like a pretty sweet trip minus the edward scissorarms.

I updated the video after making a few tweaks and adding an animated map in the beginning.
Cheers.

What kind of board do you have? Awesome video by the way. Makes me want to go back to Kodiak.

I have a few. That one is a Jones Ultracraft. It's a chopped-tail, light, carbon layup model. It basically rides like a Jones Solution, minus some of the weight. It tours nicely.
Cheers.

Phillip, I would love to take this route is there any chance you have it on a file I could put in my GPS?

Well, it was basically the same route I hiked from Old Harbor to town the previous summer. The only difference was on the hike I came out Kashevarof from Center Mtn, while when I skied it I came out at Jack's Lake behind Bells Flats. But anyway, the route is the same as the links I posted at the end of this thread: Hiking from Old Harbor to Kodiak. Take a look at that .gpx (GPS file) and .klm (Google Earth) for now, and I will try to post an updated route for the ski version soon. If you are really thinking about doing this route, before you go I can sit down with you and give you some beta. There are some rivers, avy terrain, and steep bits that are nice to know about before you get there. Email me at some point- tscheezyATyahooDOTcom
